My story will be on the marshland high school GSCE certificate and prize giving as i have to go to it and i will be asking a few students about the event and how they feel before and after they get a certificate and then the teachers after they handed out all the certificates and how they feel.

Explain the purpose of the story for the documentary.

The story for my documentary is about students getting there certificates for there GCSEs

Introduction / set the scene / Describe the situation you are exploring in detail. State what you see and where “story begins” (narrative).

The time is 7:15pm as that is when the event starts the location is Marshland High School which is in West Walton where the area looks good at the front of the school as the event will be held in the main hall as its the biggest room in the school without many items that would be in they way of people going to get their certificates and get a hand shake.

I will see the main hall room filled with tables for people to sit down at and wait for there names to be called out so they can collect their certificates and they will be able to get refreshments so they can have a drink and maybe food so then they have energy and be hydrated so they wouldn't be thirsty or hungry.

The situation i am exploring is a GCSE certificate event which i will be attending myself as Im going to get my certificate. And hoping i can interview 3 people as I am going to ask them certain questions before the certificate and after they get it. Then ask the person giving out the certificates how they  feel about handing the certificates out after they handed them all out so then  know what they think how the event was and how it could have been improved for next time they do it for the class of 2020.

The outcome of my documentary will show how people feel after being back in the school they where in and shows how they can feel after getting.

The two local newspapers of the areas have shown that marshland high school prize giving has been very successful every year they have done it and showing certain pictures of the students of that year like 2018 and 2019 students have been photographed with there awards which can be shown in the future for other students to see what they can achieve until its time for them to get one of the awards like the award of progress which is an award for which student showed how much progress they made from the start of year 7 to year 11.

YouTube is presented to others and doesn't t affect my target as they always use YouTube to watch their favourite youtubers and could find something which looks interesting and will watch it until the video ends or they get bored and decide to watch something else more interesting instead.

My story is for teenagers as most of them get their certificates in the post so they don't feel like its a reward for the past life at the school for getting their grades.

The first day I came to college and went to media and met the staff as well as fellow students in the course. Then we then looked around the area while learning the jobs in media like filming, editing, and post production and other skills involved. We got given a project called "object project" that is where me and group had to make a story for the object from a hot sauce, cam recorder a drone and some others and have to create a 2-3 minute short film.
